 Thanks Be To Grandmother Winifred Foundation underwrote this project and was the major funder for "This Dirt Museum: The Ladies' Room" my installation at Queens Botanical Garden in 2001, where the lunch photos became fabric quilts hanging from the roof of the greenhouse. |
 Women 50 to 76 agreed to be my lunch companions and wear my knitted red worms. While we talked about how they'd move kitchen composting into their everyday lives, a Worm-Ware (c) box, world's smallest composter, sat on our table, working away. |
